Methodist Thrift ShopSponsored by the United Methodist Women of this church, the thrift shop is located in Downtown Clinton at 270 Griggs St.
We are open Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 4 pm. Monies received from the sales of items are used to provide grants to other non-profit organizations in Van Buren County. Our United Methodist Women have awarded over $1 million dollars in grants in the past 10 years. Through these gifts, we have been able to join with others in the work God is doing in our community. |
Recovery MinistriesWe sponsor space for AA(Alcoholics Anonymous) and Al-Anon at our church.
AA meets on Tuesday at 7:30 pm (Closed meeting) and Friday at 7:30 pm (Open meeting) Al-Anon meets Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the Gardenview Classroom We also help sponsor with Mount Eagle Retreat Center, yearly recovery ministries. Exercise Class
Thursday evenings at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. "Shake the Dust Off" Hiking Group Clinton, Arkansas is in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in North Central Arkansas. There are numerous trails for hiking and mountain biking in our area. We hike different trails in the area, typically on the last Saturday of each month. Grief Support Group
We understand how deeply grief and loss hurt people and families, and we simply want you to have a welcoming and safe place where you can experience God's healing grace with others who are going through loss and the process of grieving. Grief Share is a 13 week grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. It’s a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone, let us partner with you! Our first 13-week GriefShare group will begin meeting on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 Each of the 13 week sessions is self-contained, so if you miss a session or two, it won't be a problem. The group will meet in the church conference room on Wednesday nights from 5:30 pm until 7:00-7:30 pm. Please let us know if you need childcare. Any questions, call Pastor Brad at 501-590-5032.
